Information and commentary on primate exploitation. What's being done, and where? By whom? Why are primates used in experiments and exploited in entertainment? What about endangered primates in the wild? How many monkeys are used and killed? What do primatologists think about these issues? Well, I can only tell you what one primatologist thinks -me. Austria announced that experimentation on nonhuman apes is banned - a crime punishable by law.
Austria was the seventh country to institute such a ban (total or partial) against experimentation on nonhuman apes.
